BY SUBWAY:
F (best) to 7th Avenue. Exit at at the front of the Brooklyn-bound train leaves you at 8th Avenue and 9 Street. Walk 1 block to park's 9th Street Entrance.

1 or 2 (next best) to Grand Army Plaza. Walk 13 short blocks along Prospect Park West to 9th St.

B or Q to 7th Avenue stop (@ Flatbush Avenue). Walk 2 blocks to Prospect Park West and continue as above.
 
B, Q (alternate) or S to Prospect Park. Enter Park at Flatbush and Ocean Avenues, follow the Blue Trail across the Park to the Bandshell.

B69 / B75 to Prospect Park West and 9th Street.
B68 to Bartel Pritchard Square (Prospect Park West and 15th Street).
B41 or B71 to Grand Army Plaza; walk 13 short blocks along Prospect Park West to 9th St. or transfer to B69 bus.

- How can I get a schedule of Celebrate Brooklyn performances?
- Please fill out the Send Upcoming Brochure form, check out the schedule online, or call 718-855-7882, ext. 45 for weekly updates to the schedule.
- How much does the performance cost?
- There is a suggested donation of $3 except for benefit concerts, which do have an admission charge unless otherwise noted. "Keep it great, Give $3 at the gate" en español, "¡Que siga la fiesta en grand! Dona $3 a la entrada."
- How do I get to Celebrate Brooklyn?
- Please refer to the directions/map page of our website
- When do the gates open?
- The site opens one (1) hour prior to the posted performance time.
- What is the seating policy at the bandshell?
- There are approximately 2,000 seats at the bandshell, and the lawn can fit over 6,000 more people. Except for benefit concerts and a small reserved Friends of Celebrate Brooklyn section, all seats are first come first serve. The facility is completely handicap accessible. Please contact the house manager upon arrival if you are disabled and need special seating arrangements.
- How can I get reserved seats?
- Reserved seats are for Friends of Celebrate Brooklyn.
- How can I support Celebrate Brooklyn?
- Donations of any amount are gratefully accepted. Or, for a little as $50, you can become a Friends of Celebrate Brooklyn and enjoy benefits throughout the summer! The details of the donor levels and the benefits for Friends of Celebrate Brooklyn are outlined in the Celebrate Brooklyn website.
- How can I sponsor Celebrate Brooklyn?

- Are all of the performances appropriate for children?
- Celebrate Brooklyn performances are geared towards adults and families with children. We will make every attempt to inform audiences if a performance contains strong adult themes or language.
- What is the rain policy?
- Performances are RAIN OR SHINE except where indicated, there are no rain dates. All best efforts will be made to present performances regardless of weather.
- Am I allowed to bring food and drinks into the venue? Are food and drinks for sale?
- We encourage picknicking, however the policies of the NYC Police Department, the Department of NYC Parks & Recreation, and Celebrate Brooklyn do not allow patrons to bring cans or bottles into the site. Celebrate Brooklyn staff and volunteers will be checking for these items upon arrival of the site. Beer and wine are sold for on-site consumption and may not be removed from the site. Two Boots Brooklyn is our food concessionaire! Enjoy great sandwiches, salads and grilled specialties from this great local restaurant!
- What other rules are there on pets, cameras, bikes, etc.?
- Please respect the rules of the Police Department, Department of Parks & Recreation and Celebrate Brooklyn while enjoying the performances. Do not bring cans, bottles, coolers, alcoholic beverages, pets, video cameras, audio recording devices, or professional cameras into the festival site. Beer and wine are sold for on-site consumption and may not be removed from the site. Keep Prospect Park beautiful and clean by placing all litter in trash receptacles.
- How can I volunteer at Celebrate Brooklyn?
- Please fill out the necessary information on the volunteer form and e-mail it to Celebrate Brooklyn. After August 1st, all submitted forms will be filed for the next season, unless specified otherwise.

- How can I perform at Celebrate Brookyn?
- The Celebrate Brooklyn performing arts festival is curated by Co-Producers Jack Walsh and Rachel Chanoff. We will accept unsolicited submissions at 647 Fulton Street, 2nd Floor, Brooklyn, NY 11217. Due to the large number of unsolicited submissions, no materials will be returned and only artists under consideration will be contacted.
- Who do I contact regarding items left at the site during a concert?
- Please call 718-855-7882, ext. 33 or e-mail at celebrate@briconline.org. You can also make inquiries at the Parks Department Bandshell Maintenance office located at the rear of the bandshell, near the public women’s bathroom.
